My name is Christian Lecompte. I’ve worked in various cybersecurity functions & responsabilities since 2001. I’m a builder and solver of complex cybersecurity problems.

I’ve lead large cybersecurity teams during my career in basically all areas of cybersecurity.

Early in my carreer, I have designed, built and lead a SOC for an MSSP serving multiple Canadian and international customers.

Since then, i’ve been mostly in the financial sector to create and develop key cyber capabilities such as:

• Identity and Access Management
• IT Compliance
• Investigation services
• Third Party Risk management

I’ve lead multiple large, complex & successful entreprise transforming cybersecurity projects in key areas such as:

• Cyber risk appetite and key risk indicators
• Entreprise cyber security strategy
• Data Loss Prevention
• Network Segmentation
• mandatory SSL decryption for outbound Internet connections
• Mandatory Endpoint VPN enforcement
• Building complete governance structure including Entreprise Policies and technical standards

I’m currently employed at Intact Financial, the largest P&C insurer in Canada.
